My passion for sports and fitness spans more than two decades. As a child, I was a competitive gymnast. In high school I played volleyball for Holy Name, in Parma, Ohio. I'm an avid snowboarder-going on 15 years, and have since picked up distance running and competitive cycling.
When it came time to pursue my professional career, I knew my destiny: exercise biochemistry. I earned my AAS, BS & MS summa cum laude in Exercise Physiology with emphasis on Nutritional Biochemistry from Kent State University and began my Ph.D. studies in the same field with my main focus being hormone relationships, obesity, weight loss, and ketogenic diets. I found out that I was only a few credits shy of becoming a Registered Dietician, so I will be finishing that up in spring of 2012 as well.
In 2006, I began bodybuilding and in 2011 am qualified in the NPC for women's physique at a national level.
I specialize in functional rehabilitation, weight loss, sport-specific conditioning and coaching men and women for competitive bodybuilding.
I bring a lot to the table: a research background, passion, and experience. I have experimented with new techniques for both general rehabilitation and sport specific adaptations post-physical therapy and take pride in my new-age techniques. If you are ready to build lean body mass, decrease body fat and take your fitness to a new level, I'm your girl.
If you would like to speak with clients I have trained for certain sports or for functional rehabilitation, I will gladly put you in contact with them.
Also, I have extensive background in web-design. All of this coding and content was created solely by me with no outside help. Any donations are greatly appreciated since software and domain management are not the cheapest in this day and age. Thanks!
